As a library professional, I work daily to provide information that is diverse, user-friendly, and relevant to each student. Assisting students on the reference desk and in instruction, the opportunity to be a facilitating participant in the active learning process of each individual strengthens my resolve: knowledge truly is power to learners of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences.
